Iranian President Not to Yield to U.S. Pressure

Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad clarified the Iranian government's stand not to yield to the pressure of the U.S. in a press conference during his recent visit to Ecuador.

He disclosed that the U.S. was resorting to any moves to block the advance of the Iranian people and said that if the U.S. attacks Iran, the army and people of his country would strongly react to the enemies' aggression.

He stressed that the U.S. blockade and sanctions would have no effect on the development of Iran.
