DPRK's Acrobatics Dominates Intl' Circus Festival

| Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- Gold prize, top prize, went to the DPRK's acrobatic stunt "Fliers," silver prize to "Fly Higher", bronze prize to "String-balance" and technique prize to "Wire Rope Balancing" at the 6th Valencia International Circus Festival which took place in Valencia of Spain from Jan. 13 to 15. It brought together famous acrobats from the DPRK, Russia, Spain, Italy, Britain, France, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Mexico. Put on the stage were at least 20 numbers selected from more than 30 numbers presented to the international joint circus held in Valencia from Dec. 3 last year to Jan. 8 this year. A ceremony of awarding those prizes to Korean acrobats took place on Jan. 15. |
