Kim Jong Il watched a demonstration performance given by figure skaters last December, the last month of his great life, and gave important instructions to develop the Korean-style figure skating skills to demonstrate the honor of Juche Korea in international matches.

He promised to send the best skates to them, saying they should have good skates in order to develop the figure skating.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un made sure that the best figure skates were secured and sent to the skaters as gifts in the name of Kim Jong Il.

A meeting for conveying the gifts was held on Saturday.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Chol, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, and officials in the field of sports, figure skaters and coaches.

Choe Ryong Hae made a speech at the meeting.

The speakers said Kim Jong Il is the tender-hearted father who showed such parental loving care to realize their hope to use good skates.

The sportspersons will strikingly demonstrate the might of Songun Korea with gold medals and thus live up to the deep trust of the peerlessly great men, they stressed.
