He went round the room for the education in the revolutionary history and the room devoted to the history of the unit.

Seeing the precious mementoes and data associated with the efforts and wisdom and energy devoted by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, he looked back with deep emotion on the course of development covered by the unit along the road of victory and glory.

He said earnestly that the history of the unit which has grown to be invincible and matchless ranks is a proud course shining with the undying leadership feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the development of the KPA.

It is good for the large combined unit to conduct an effective education through the room for the education in the revolutionary history and the room devoted to the history of the unit, he said. He gave the precious instructions which would serve as guidelines for doing an educational work through revolutionary relics.

After acquainting himself with the performance of the unit's duty, he went round military lecture rooms to learn about the training of commanding officers and staff members.

He noted with appreciation that the unit has conducted intensive training under the simulated conditions of an actual battle, thereby preparing all the commanding officers, staff members and servicepersons as a-match-for-a hundred combatants and defying-corps for national reunification capable of independently and positively performing their duties.

Then he went round a company under the large combined unit.

Watching with keen attention the training of service personnel at the training room, he encouraged them in undergoing training in an atmosphere of an actual battle true to the WPK's training-first policy.

At a bedroom, he took its temperature with the help of a thermometer. Taking blankets for soldiers, he learned about their quality and was satisfied to hear that all of them liked warm and soft blankets.

Looking at the steam rising from the water tank at the wash-cum-bath house, he asked about how water is kept warm. He told the company commander and political instructor to cooperate with each other and take good care of the living of the soldiers.

Upon hearing that a lot of time has passed, he said that the time he spent among soldiers was the most worthwhile and he never considered it as a pity to spend time in such a manner. Then he made the rounds of supply service facilities including mess hall and soybean store.

Noting that his visit to the command helped him to learn that everything including the command and management of the unit was going well, he stressed the need to further improve the command and management of the unit and establish steel-like military discipline through the concerted efforts of the commanding officers and soldiers and thus fully demonstrate the militant spirit and appearance as the most elite revolutionary forces.

He expressed his expectation and belief that the servicepersons of the large combined unit would display the heroic mettle in the sacred service to defend the country before leaving for the next leg of his inspection tour.
