As soon as the sad news of the passing of leader Kim Jong Il was aired, the DPRK suddenly turned into the ocean of tears, the paper said.

Wailing voices were heard everywhere in the country and everybody, men and women, old and young, burst into tears, it added.

The Nepali newspaper Charcha said the Korean people's leader Kim Jong Il, universally recognized outstanding great man, was not just the leader of the country but the benevolent father from whom they could not live separated even a moment.

The Korean people were not just shedding the tears of grief. Their tears represented the pure single-minded unity of the Korean society in which the leader and the people form a harmonious whole, the paper added. It was also an eruption of the faith and will of all the Koreans to remain loyal to the leader's idea and leadership.

The chairman of the New Zealand-DPRK Society said the demise of Kim Jong Il was a great sorrow to the Korean people.

Leader Kim Jong Il as a successor to the founder of the DPRK President Kim Il Sung ensured the security of the country and unity of the Koreans.

The DPRK held Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the father of a big family.

For the DPRK the sudden demise of Kim Jong Il did not just mean the loss of a statesman, but it meant the loss of the father of the nation to the Koreans.

ARTE TV of France reported that tears shed by Koreans helped clearly know how ardently the Korean people admired Kim Jong Il and how resilient the ties between the leader and the people are.

The statement of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico noted the dear respected Kim Jong Un is the spiritual mainstay of the Korean army and people and the beacon of hope.

The Korean people will add shine to the immortal revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Il through generations under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, the statement stressed.
