In the statement titled "Immediately stop military drills for war", the organization stroke out at the United States and south Korea for staging war exercises from the outset of new year under the pretext of coping with someone's "provocations".

This has increased the danger of war in Korea than ever before, it noted, adding:

The serious crisis of the Korean Peninsula is entirely attributable to the Lee Myung Bak "government" and the U.S. war moves.

If the present "government" had implemented the north-south joint declarations, the peninsula would not have faced such an extreme state of standoff.

Denouncing the south Korea-U.S. big military drills that are aimed at igniting the second Korean war which will bring disaster to the nation, the statement urged an immediate halt to all military exercises.
