| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The special report of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea was reported in different countries from Jan. 13 to 16. The Egyptian paper Al-Ahram said: The special report of the Politburo of the C.C., WPK announced that the great leader Kim Jong Il will be laid in state at the Kumsusan Memorial Palace. His statue will be erected with due respect and February 16 when he was born will be instituted as the Day of the Shining Star, the special report said. The Nepali paper Majodur, the Chinese paper Heilongjiang Sinmun, the Myanmar paper New Light of Myanmar and French media reported the full text or gist of the above-said special report under the titles "HE Kim Jong Il is laid in state" and " Statue of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il to Be Erected", etc. |
