Service personnel and Pyongyangites from all walks of life and school youth and children and overseas compatriots staying in the socialist homeland, visited his statue on Ryongnam Hill to pay tribute to him.

Laid before the statue were floral baskets in the name of the Party, armed forces and power organs and social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, scientific, educational, culture and arts and public health and media institutions and industrial establishments, schools and others.

The visitors paid tribute to the statue in humble reverence for the President.
