The Korean people, who turned out in the New Year's grand march full of conviction of victory rallied close around HE Kim Jong Un, will register brilliant successes in this year's drive to open the gate to a thriving nation.

"Let all the compatriots open the gates of national reunification full of fresh confidence!" This is one of the slogans laid down in the joint editorial.

The homepage hoped for an epochal turn in the movement for Korea's reunification this year.
