The President said that the main principle of socialist education is to educate school youth and children in a socialist manner so as to thoroughly revolutionize them and assimilate them to working-class.

Leader Kim Jong Il saw to it that officials in the field of education heard the recorded speech of the President on the 40th anniversary of the publication of the work last year.

Present at the meeting were Choe Hui Jong, department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Song Ja Rip, minister of Higher Education who doubles as president of Kim Il Sung University, officials of party and power bodies and the educational field and teachers and researchers at schools at various levels in Pyongyang.
