Forces of the marine corps deployed on those islands fired live shells with different types of artillery pieces for hours towards waters around them, kicking up war fever.

Traitor Lee Myung Bak harbored grudge against the north when the south Korean army was hit hard for preempting shelling into territorial waters of its side from Yonphyong Island in November 2010. He has since waited for a chance of provocation, grumbling "he feels towering grudge" and "his patience is exhausted."

Consequently, the cases of exercises for attack on the north from the five islands in the West Sea of Korea have increased unprecedentedly.

Large-scale exercises for preemptive attack were staged in November last year with armed forces of various services involved under the simulated conditions of the shelling on Yonphyong Island a year ago, creating a touch-and-go situation.

This year the group of traitors openly disclosed their plan to stage regularly every year field mobile exercises with main emphasis on discussing tactics with the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces on those islands, spying on terrain and escalating naval firing drills.

They are spreading rumor that they stand for dialogue with the DPRK, while working hard to recreate through maneuvers for a war of aggression the same situation as what happened after the Yonphyong Island shelling incident. However, all Koreans and the rest of the world clearly see through the shameless and bellicose true colors of the group.
