Togolese President Asks African Countries to Develop Better Conflict Resolution Mechanisms

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe Tuesday deplored the persistent tensions that have followed the Arab Spring in the Maghreb, noting that this should provoke a deeper reflection on the need to come up with better conflict resolution mechanisms on the African continent. The Togolese president called for closer cooperation between the African Union and the United Nations in their efforts to establish peace on the continent. |
