Swedish FM Urges Stepped up EU Diplomacy on Iran Nuclear Deadlock

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt on Monday called on the European Union to step up diplomatic efforts to resolve the stalemate over Iran's nuclear program. "No one has an interest ... in confrontation or war," he added. He warned sanctions alone are not the answer to this issue. Sweden's top diplomat has repeatedly made clear that a negotiated settlement was the only way to settle the Iranian nuclear deadlock. |
