The Ministry of Public Health dispatched many field service teams made up of competent doctors, nurses and prosthetists to major socialist construction sites.

Measures were also taken to provide the teams with sufficient medicines and medical apparatuses.

The team of the Pyongyang Medical College Hospital of Kim Il Sung University made sincere examination and treatment of workers of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex.

Doctors and nurses of the Kim Man Yu Hospital, Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, Ministry of Public Health General Dental Hospital and the Pyongyang Ophthalmic Hospital have been posted to the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill, East Pyongyang Thermal Plant, Hana Music Information Center and other units. They are providing not only medical check-ups but necessary measures.

Those hospitals engaged in mobile field services outside Pyongyang include the Jagang Provincial People's Hospital, Kangwon Provincial People's Hospital, North Phyongan Provincial Maternity Hospital and the Hamhung Orthopedic Hospital.

Medical workers of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Hospital toured more than 20 farms to take preventive and curative medical care for farmers while helping their work.
