The DPRK Law on Higher Education was adopted, the paper said, introducing its provisions.

The adoption of the law will help develop the organization and operation of higher educational institutions in the DPRK and education and scientific researches there on a new stage, the paper noted, adding that it will also help produce a larger number of competent scientists, technicians and experts prepared politically and ideologically and possessed of a high level of scientific and technological knowledge and creative ingenuity.
