The work, published on February 16, Juche 61 (1972), sets it as the main task of the union to thoroughly implement the theses on the socialist rural question.

The participants heard papers proving the validity and vitality of the ideas and theories contained in the work.

The triumphant accomplishment of Juche cause is possible only when the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea accelerates the three revolutions in rural areas as clarified in the theses, educates and rallies the farmers in the idea of the Workers' Party of Korea and puts the overall rural construction on a socialist basis.

The speakers said that the publication of the work helped the union carry out the programme for rural construction in every aspect with a proper orientation and ways.

They called on the agricultural workers to fulfill their mission as reliable defender and supporter of the Party and thus make a tangible contribution to the cause of building a thriving nation.

Attending the seminar were Ri Yong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, officials concerned and officials of the union in Pyongyang and all provinces, cities and counties.
