Socialist Emulation Called for

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A meeting of young people of Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill took place on Jan. 31 to make the flames of Hamnam flare up more fiercely in order to challenge all the organizations of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League and young people in the field of light industry across the country to a socialist emulation to further contribute to the improving of the people's living standard. The reporter and speakers referred to the fact that the mill's young vanguard have turned out in a drive to glorify the year of 2012 as a year of proud victory when an era of prosperity is unfolding, cherishing the great honor that their mill is going by the august name of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero. They called on the members of the youth league to play the role of vanguard and shock brigade in the drive for improving the people's living standard, loudly singing the song of "The Korean Youth March" under the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Present there were Ri Yong Chol, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, and officials concerned and officials of the youth league and its members. |
