The Hamhung Knitting Mill finished the monthly plan 116 percent on Jan. 26 while the Hamhung Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory carried out the monthly plan on all indices on Jan. 22.

Those of mines and industrial establishments in Tanchon area completed January plan 101 percent.

Coming on top were the Komdok Mining Complex, the Ryongyang Mine, the Paekbawi Mine and the Tanchon Smeltery which radically increased the volumes of ores dressed following their mining and transport.

The workers of the Ryongsong Machine Complex pushed ahead with the production of custom-built equipment required by several sectors of the national economy.

The Hamhung Youth Electric Alliances Plant also fulfilled its monthly plan 104 percent.

Scores of industrial establishments overfulfilled their daily plan. Among them are the Equipment Assembly Complex assigned with the Hungnam gasification project and other major projects including that of the February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Tanchon Mining Industry Construction Complex and the Hamhung Industry Construction Office.

The Hamnam Area Coal Mining Complex carried out monthly plan by solving problems by its own efforts.

The Hamhung Railway Bureau and the Provincial Forestry Management Bureau registered achievements in transport and timber production from early January.

The Jangjingang and Pujongang power stations raised efficiency of generating equipment to the maximum, ensuring over 105 percent completion of daily plan for electricity generation.
