Working People's Organizations Meet

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The 64th Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the 62nd Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea were separately held here Tuesday.

Present there were members and alternate members of the Central Committees and officials of the unions in Pyongyang and other parts of the country.

The participants observed a moment's silence for leader Kim Jong Il in the humblest reverence.

They discussed thoroughly implementing the militant tasks laid down in the decision of the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee, the joint calls of the Central Committee and Central Military Commission of the WPK and the joint New Year editorial.
