Condolence Messages to Kim Yong Nam from Heads of State

| Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, received condolence messages from heads of state of different countries over the passing of general secretary Kim Jong Il. They are presidents of Singapore, the Philippines, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Greece, Switzerland, Mozambique, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Myanmar, Algeria and Peru, the prime minister of India, the king of Malaysia, the sultan of Brunei Darussalam and the governor-general of Australia. The messages extended deep sympathy to the government and people of the DPRK. They assured the continuous development of friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK. |
