Under the title of "We can never allow the joint military exercises for aggression", the statement noted that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers are scheming to stage Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises, dangerous war games aimed at invasion of the DPRK, on the Korean Peninsula this year, too, despite the strong protest at home and abroad.

This is an intolerable mockery and challenge not only to all Koreans in the north and the south and abroad desirous for peace and security of the country but also to conscience of the international community, it said, adding:

As they had asserted whenever staging military exercises, the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean authorities impudently advertised the planned rehearsals as "annual ones for defence".

However, those exercises have already and long been known as a rehearsal for attack on the DPRK under the U.S. operation plan.

If the south Korean authorities truly want the improved relations with the DPRK and peace on the Korean Peninsula, they should cancel at once the planned military drills for aggression quite contrary to such practice and make apology before anything else for the high treason they committed against the fellow countrymen who suffered a great loss.

The U.S. should stop such deceptive moves as calling for dialogue with the DPRK and denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula while instigating the south Korean puppet authorities to dangerous military actions aimed at disturbing peace and denuclearization, and pull its troops out of south Korea.

The Association of Koreans in Japan for Peaceful Reunification will put spurs to the nation's movement for independence and unity and peace against war to foil the separatist forces' moves and open up a turning phase for independent reunification.
