Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism issued its bulletin No. 66 under the title "Son of Mt. Paektu" on the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. The bulletin edited a portrait of Kim Jong Il and articles under such titles as "Mt. Paektu recognizes its master." In an article titled "It seems to be blessing from sky" the bulletin dealt with the mysterious weather in the area of Mt. Paektu on February 16, 1942. Even the sky seemed to congratulate Kim Jong Il on his birth, it added. In another article titled "42 and Mt. Paektu" the bulletin noted: Mt. Paektu is situated at 42 degrees of North Latitude. It corresponds to the year 1942 when he was born. Mt. Paektu is associated with so many stories with profound meanings. He considered the steep mountains as a playground of his birthplace. As people say a man is apt to resemble the area where he was born, Kim Jong Il resembled Mt. Paektu in the true sense of the word. It attracts so many people for its majestic appearance as it has large lake Chon on its top and is surrounded by myriads of mountain peaks and mysterious natural wonders. They are a symbol of Kim Jong Il's personality and spirit featured by high aims, extraordinary wisdom, strong grit and will, unbounded magnanimity and perfect commanding ability. |
