Kansai Electric Power Co. said Tuesday it fell into the red in the April-December period with a group net loss of 118.11 billion yen.

Meanwhile, Honda Motor Co. reported a group net profit of 139.89 billion yen, down 71.4 percent from the previous year, for the April-December period.

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. said it logged a group net profit of 270.96 billion yen in the same period of last year, down 35.8 percent from a year earlier.
