The mayor of Nakhodka said that Kimjongilia is a flower in praise of Kim Jong Il, a great man, carrying the world people's deep reverence for him, as well as a natural flower.

The Nakhodka citizens feel high pride at the fact that the flower of the sun has come into full bloom in their city, the mayor said, stressing that the city administration will conduct a brisk work to widely propagate Kimjongilia.

An ITAR-TASS correspondent to Maritime Territory said that Kimjongilia makes them recall the feats of Kim Jong Il who made enormous contributions to the protection of world peace and stability and the human cause of independence.

This flower has won highest appreciation at world horticultural expos and flower exhibitions, he said, adding this clearly shows how ardent the world progressives' reverence for Kim Jong Il is.

The show was visited by personages of political and social circles and citizens of Nakhodka, Pokino, Artyom and Partizansk cities.
