The chairman of the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-DPRK National Friend Association Named after Kim Il Sung and Alexander Paunov, first secretary of the C.C., Bulgarian Communist Party, were elected chairmen of the preparatory committees.

The preparatory committees decided to introduce the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il through media and organize meeting, seminar and other political and cultural events.
