A meeting for starting the tour took place in front of the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo Memorial Tower in Hyesan, Ryanggang Province, on Sunday.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the tower and paid tribute to him.

At the meeting Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the C.C., GFTUK, made a report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers noted that Kim Jong Il, born as son of guerrillas in Mt.Paektu, performed immortal exploits for the country and the revolution, the era and history.

They renewed their will to work fresh miracles and feats at their worksites under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

After the meeting, the group went round the tower.
