In the messages and letters they noted that the Korean people turned their sorrow into thousand-fold courage and strength to rise up as they have Kim Jong Un, heir to the revolutionary cause of Juche, as supreme leader of the party, state and army.

They expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve bigger successes in the grand drive for this year under the leadership of Kim Jong Un true to the behests of leader Kim Jong Il.

Meanwhile, the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee received a congratulatory message from the general secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India on the same occasion.
