Nepalese Peace Prize Awarded to Three Commanders of DPRK

| Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics awarded Nepalese International Peace Prize to the three commanders of Mt. Paektu with due ceremony in Kathmandu on Feb. 1. The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il. The prize was handed over to the DPRK ambassador to Nepal. At the ceremony Chairman of the Association Manju Ratna Sakya said that the DPRK and independent socialist power where the people have become its master were built thanks to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. The undying feats they performed by making tangible contribution to the Korean revolution and human cause of independence would remain in history forever and be deeply cherished by the world people, he added. |
