Kim Jong Il's Birthplace Draws Endless Stream of Visitors

Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- More than 2,000 working people from all walks of life and school youth and children visit the old home of General Secretary Kim Jong Il at the secret camp in Mt. Paektu everyday on his 70th birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star). Going round relics, the visitors deeply looked back on the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il who performed undying feats for the country, people, times and history with his outstanding political caliber and leadership ability. Oath-taking meetings are being held by many study tour groups in front of the birthplace. They included those of school youth and children across the country, the Ministry of Railways and officials of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea across the country. |
