In May last year General Secretary Kim Jong Il gave instructions to conduct brisk socialist emulation among fruit farms to produce more fruits including delicious apples and supply them to the people.

Officials and other working people there brought about a turn in rapidly increasing the fruition production and turning villages and work sites into socialist land of bliss.

An awarding ceremony took place at the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm Wednesday.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Chol Ho, director of the General Company of Combined Fruit Farming, officials concerned and agricultural workers.
