The joint military drills used to screw up the tension on the Korean Peninsula every year, the paper said, adding:

This year's drills are pursuant to the U.S. new military strategy envisaging the drastic cut-down of military spending for a coming decade. Following its publication the south Korean authorities buckled down to "tightening alliance" with the U.S.

The U.S. is burdening south Korea with much more military backing under the pretext of "defense pact". This is aimed to use the south Korean puppet army as a shock brigade for igniting a war against the DPRK and minimize its own human and material losses.

An aim sought by the south Korean authorities is to lead military counteraction of the DPRK to an armed conflict and unleash a war under that pretext. Another aim is to escalate tension, deflect public attention, rally conservative forces under the pretext of "instable security" and win in upcoming April 11 "National Assembly" election.

This proves that the U.S. and its war servant Lee Myung Bak group of traitors are to blame for harassed peace and escalated tension on the Korean Peninsula, the stalled north-south relations and the looming danger of a war.
