Migok Co-op Farm Wins in Socialist Emulation for 2011

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A socialist emulation drive among co-op farms now under way in the DPRK involve Migok in Sariwon of South Hwanghae Province, Sinam and Unhung in Ryongchon and Thaechon Counties of North Phyongan Province, Samjigang in Jaeryong County of South Hwanghae Province and Tongbong in Hamju County of South Hamgyong Province. These farms are glorifying their honor as the model farms in the Songun era. Their farmers increased grain and other agricultural production while sprucing up their villages. Summing up the socialist emulation for Juche 100(2011), a testimonial and a rotating pennant of victory in the emulation were awarded to the Migok Co-op Farm in Sariwon in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK Cabinet. An awarding ceremony of the pennant took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Thursday. Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Ri Kyong Sik, minister of Agriculture. |
