The world community is praising him as a distinguished great man, the paper said.

The Nepali paper Gorkha Express carried a photo of Kim Jong Il acknowledging the cheers of the crowd from the tribune of honor of Kim Il Sung Square.

He regarded the single-minded unity as a mainstay of the revolution, consolidated as firm as a rock the single-minded unity of the society with the People' Army as the core under the banner of Songun and led the service personnel to make a breakthrough in socialist construction, the paper stressed.
