Journalist Peace Prize for 2012 Awarded to Kim Jong Un
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The National Press Club of Nepal registered the dear respected Kim Jong Un as its honorary member. And the Club and its Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics awarded a Journalist Peace Prize for 2012 to him.

A ceremony of conveying the prize and its diploma took place on Feb. 6.

Present there were officials of the government, political parties and organizations and popular masses of Nepal. Among them were the minister of State of Information and Communications, the general secretary of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who doubles as chairman of the Nepalese national preparatory committee to commemorate the 70th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, and the chairman of the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club.

Present on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to Nepal and his embassy officials.

The prize and diploma were handed over to the DPRK ambassador.

Ram K. Karmacharya, chairman of the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics, said that it is unanimous will and highest honor of progressive media persons of Nepal and the rest of the world to register Kim Jong Un as honorary member of the National Press Club of Nepal and award the prize to him on the Day of the Shining Star.
