Abrogation of FTA Called for in S. Korea

Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Opposition parties and the Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement in south Korea held a press conference on Wednesday in Seoul demanding the abrogation of the humiliating FTA.

At the conference speakers urged all circles to make concerted efforts for the abrogation of the humiliating agreement.

Those who railroaded FTA through the "National Assembly" will not escape a stern punishment at the general election to be held in April, they warned.

They said they would take all measures for the abrogation of the humiliating agreement.

At the end of the conference they handed to the U.S. embassy letters of protest addressed to the U.S. president and Congress.
