They included a delegation of the Koreans in Japan for commemorating the Day of the Shining Star led by Pae Ik Ju, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), a delegation of officials of Chongryon led by Kim Hong Chol, department director of its Central Standing Committee, a delegation of officials of the Korean Youth League in Japan led by Kim Cha Dol, chairman of its Central Standing Committee, a delegation of the Federation of Koreans in U.S. led by its Secretary General Kim Hyon Hwan, delegate Han Sung Su, vice-chairman of the Federation of Koreans in Australia, Choe Kon Guk, a Korean resident in Germany, and Kim Myong Ju, a Korean resident in Netherlands.
