What is especially noteworthy in his ideo-theoretical activities is that he developed in depth the Songun idea, the chairman stressed.

The director of the Editorial Board of the Teleambiente TV Consortium of Italy said it was thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il that the DPRK could firmly defend the sovereignty of the country and dynamically advance the cause of national reunification, shattering the moves of all the hostile forces to stifle it.

He made every possible effort to achieve the reunification of the country, the cherished desire of the Korean nation, the director noted, praising his feats for national reunification.

Though he passed away, the great feats he performed for the times and history will be everlasting, he stressed.
