S. Korea: Reunification Champion Declared Guilty

Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The Chunchon District Court of south Korea sentenced Jong Sol Gyo, a peasant poet and reunification champion, to one year in jail with two-year stay of execution and one-year suspension of qualification, according to the south Korean Internet paper Jaju Minbo on Feb. 10.

The court authorities made this decision by dint of the notorious "Security Law" for the mere reason that Jong has done writings criticizing the "government's" policy of spoiling agriculture and calling for national reunification.

Jong declared to go on making writings of conscience in disregard of such court decision.
