Kim Jong Il Revered by Official of International Organization

| Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- Guy Dupre, secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea, said he came to revere leader Kim Jong Il, witnessing his untiring revolutionary activities, leadership mode and popular traits. The secretary general issued a statement on Feb. 6 on the birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il. The constructive peace proposals and initiatives advanced by the DPRK clearly reflected his will to carry out President Kim Il Sung's instructions for national reunification, Guy Dupre said. Praising his feats for national reunification, Guy Dupre further said: Kim Jong Il was the people's father who devoted his all to building a thriving socialist nation and bringing happiness to the people. He was also a peerlessly brilliant commander who trained the Korean People's Army into a matchless army with his Songun politics. His untimely demise at the end of hard work for the Korean revolution and global independence was a great loss to not only the Korean people but the progressive mankind. |
