Day of Shining Star Observed by Foreign Papers

Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- Papers of various countries carried special write-ups illustrated with a portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il on his birth anniversary. The Bangladeshi paper Natun Bangla on February 6 in an article titled "On the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, 70th birth anniversary of the great leader H.E. Kim Jong Il" said Kim Jong Il was the greatest man. It continued: He comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung. He considered independence, peace and friendship as an invariable idea of the foreign policy of the DPRK and conducted energetic external activities, making a signal contribution to global independence. He will be always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive humankind. Another Bangladeshi paper Natun Katha on February 7 noted the reality of the DPRK winning victory after victory under the banner of Songun is greatly encouraging the people of the countries aspiring after independence and dynamically pushing ahead with the socialist movement in the world. The paper of Democratic Congo La Prosperite on February 6 edited in its one whole page the articles titled "A great master of leadership" and "Benevolent father of the people" illustrated with photos showing the orders Kim Jong Il received and the Kumsusan Memorial Palace. The Myanmar paper The Voice on February 6 carried an article titled "H.E. Kim Jong Il will be immortal along with his exploits." |
