The paper noted:

It was the view of Kim Jong Il that the purpose of a revolution is to bring the love for people into full bloom and patriotism and revolution originate from the ardent love for people and a revolution for achieving man's independence is the most ardent love for human beings.

It was his outlook on life to serve the people and dedicate himself to them.

The paper cited facts to prove that Kim Jong Il spared nothing for the people's happiness, adding:

He always thought of the people while making foreign tours.

It is by no means fortuitous that the Russian presidential envoy who had accompanied him on visit to Russia noted in his article that Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission, was the leader who devoted his all thoughts and enthusiasm to the happiness of the people only.

How ardently he loved the people can be explained by the ceaseless field guidance provided by him.

It is quite natural for the Korean people to hold such leader in high esteem, calling him their father.
