At the end of the visit, Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery Sukhinin who is doyen of the diplomatic corps said those immortal flowers reflect the Korean people's reverence for Kim Jong Il.

Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Hongcai said that while visiting the venue of the festival, he missed Kim Jong Il very much. Kimjongilia will always be kept in full bloom as a flower dedicated to the great man.

Bijaya Rajbhandari, representative of the Office of UN Children's Fund, said every flower in the venue reflects the reverence of the Korean people for Kim Jong Il, adding that he has never seen such marvelous flower festival.
