The participants paid a silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

After a keynote report was made by Vishwanath, director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the floor was taken by Harish Gupta, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, Ghazi Zafar Ahmed, former prime minister of Bangladesh, Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Khaleq Zaman Bhuiyan, general secretary of the C. C., the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, representatives of Juche idea study organizations in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Japan, Bangladesh, etc. and followers of the Juche idea.

The reporter and speakers lauded Kim Jong Il as a peerless great man and a political elder of the world who led the human cause of independence to victory with matchless idea and leadership art.

As Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea, the progressive people aspiring after independence came to have a powerful weapon for the struggle to build a new world free from any exploitation and oppression, aggression and war, they said.

He honorably safeguarded the gains of socialism by pursuing Songun politics and made a great contribution to the world peace and security and the human cause of independence, they added.

They recalled that Kim Jong Il led all Koreans along the road of independence and great national unity, ushering in the June 15 era of reunification, and made an undying contribution to the victory of socialism and the accomplishment of the just cause of friendship and solidarity among the peoples.

They reiterated their will to invigorate their activities for disseminating the Juche idea, the Songun idea, and boosting support and solidarity with the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation and to reunify the country.

A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
