Leader Kim Jong Il, regarding the President's will as his lifelong wish, made field guidance for the people's happiness till the last moments of his life.

When he visited the Pyongyang Flour-processing Factory in January Juche 99 (2010), he said many foodstuff production bases were built throughout the country under the leadership of the President.

The officials should realize his idea without fail by pushing forward the modernization of the industrial establishments, he added.

Touring technologically updated chicken farms and pig farms, he used to say President Kim Il Sung might have been pleased if he had seen them. Seeing the Taehung Youth Hero Mine and the Songjin Steel Complex which started production with fuel and raw materials available in the country, he also thought of the President.

He also looked back on the President, touring the breakwater of the reclaimed Taegyedo tideland and new mountain-climbing routes of Mt. Myohyang.

He, regarding it as his noble mission to put into practice the desire of the President, made field guidance all his life.

Under his energetic leadership the industrial establishments have constantly been updated, the production of vinalon and fertilizer has been normalized with locally available raw materials, and modern fruit farms appeared in the country.
