Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- A performance of film workers "Always on One Road" was given at the Pyongyang International Cinema House here on Thursday to commemorate the Day of the Shining Star. The performers staged colorful numbers telling about the immortal exploits of leader Kim Jong Il performed by bringing the golden age of the Juche-based cinematic art as well as the glorious course covered by it. Story-telling and song "The Path to Awakening" and female solo "My Star" brought home to the audience the greatness of Kim Jong Il who created a precious tradition of Juche-based revolutionary cinematics. Narrative poem "Standing in the Van of Drive to Bring Drastic Improvement in the Cinematic Art" and tale in drama "Love and Trust" showed their deep yearning for the benevolent father, the great teacher who brought into full bloom the creators and artistes' talents. Also put on stage were "I'll Be the Flower to Herald the Spring", a song which Kim Jong Il always kept in his mind during his long journey of Songun leadership and film music pieces much loved and remembered by him. What specially touched the audience was a play based on real-story and song telling that feature film "Wishes" was the last movie he watched in his lifetime. |
