The work, published on July 26, 1996, clarifies the idea that the Juche philosophy is an original philosophy evolved and systemized by its own peculiar principles and a revolutionary and popular philosophy which truly serves the purpose of the struggle of the popular masses for independence.

His work "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" was jointly brought out in booklet by the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association and the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea on the occasion of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star.
