Visiting the DPRK several times, I came to know a lot about Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, and deeply respect him, the director-general said, and went on:

He passed away but his feats will always be remembered by the Korean people and progressive mankind.

Wahid Al Uksouri, chairman of the Arab Socialist Party of Egypt, in a statement on the same day noted that Kim Jong Il is the great leader who performed the undying feats for the Korean revolution and the accomplishment of the world socialist cause.
