Huichon Power Stations Nos. 1 and 2 which were built in a short span of time at a new speed of Chollima, Huichon speed under the wise leadership of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un, entered into test operation in order to supply electricity to different fields of national economy.

Choe, together with officials concerned, looked round various places including generator rooms, to learn in detail about the modernization of electric power network and production of electricity at the power stations.

Referring to the important role played by the power stations in settling the issue of electricity urgently needed for building a thriving nation, he underscored the need to put the production of electricity on a normal footing through a proper operation of equipment and technical management.

He underlined the need to take decisive measures for increasing at maximum the production capacity at the existing power stations and reducing the loss of electricity in transmission in the field of power industry.
