This is sordid and mean trick to escape from the responsibility for the stalled north-south relations and evade the punishment by history.

It is preposterous for the Lee Myung Bak regime, which is to blame for the stalled north-south relations, to talk about "provision of foundation" for the improvement of the relations.

The Lee regime is the chief culprit that has brought the north-south relations to a total collapse.

No sooner had the regime come to power than it called the June 15 era a "lost decade". It has pursued "waiting strategy" aiming at "contingency" in the DPRK.

It denied the historic June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and put up the "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars", unprecedented confrontation policy for confrontation of social systems and invasion of the north, as its "north policy". From the beginning it decried "By our nation itself", an idea of reunification common to the nation, groundlessly branding it as the "north's strategy".

It declared that it would subordinate the north-south relations to the relations with outsiders and opted to work as a servant carrying out the U.S. colonial domination and implementing its policy of aggression.

It has insisted on confrontation with fellow countrymen and confrontation of social systems, denying national reconciliation and unity and reunification of the country, thus creating mistrust between the north and

the south and turning the inter-Korean ties into those of extreme hostility.

It is just the Lee group which checked overnight multifarious dialogues which had been active after the publication of the June 15 joint declaration. It, raising nuclear issue and "apology" as precondition, has

broken off the dialogues that had been arranged by the efforts exerted by the DPRK.

The situation clearly proves that the stalled north-south relations can not be improved but will become worse over time, as long as there is anti-reunification confrontation policy of the Lee Myung Bak conservative group.

The group of traitors can never escape from the punishment by history as the sworn enemy of the nation that betrayed the fellow countrymen.
