It has a total floor space of more than 3,940 square meters.

Its ground floor has stands selling fresh fishes, dried aquatic products, roe, shellfish, seafood and a variety of processed aquatic products.

There are on its first and second floors restaurants where varieties of dishes including soup prepared with different kinds of fishes, noodle with seasoned raw-sliced fish, cold noodle and roast meat are served to customers.

An opening ceremony was held on Tuesday.

Present there were Ryang Man Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, officials concerned, employees of the shop, builders and Pyongyangites.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the shop.
